Hello, my name is Mariska Leliveld. I was born in Ter Aar on January 17 in 1975. My parents Jettie Leliveld-Kampen and Hein Leliveld live currently in Hoorn, where I spend my secondary school period. Nowadays I live in Amsterdam with Erik Min in a lovely little house. Together with guppy fish 'Vis' and a lot of plants we have a cosy home.
My mother is a nurse in the first aid department and my father is communications advisor in agriculture. I have two brothers Patrick (IT-specialist) and Hein-Jan (student applied physics). I am an environmental (marine) biologist. I graduated on ecotoxicology in December 1999 after a study period of 5.5 years. I also attended several psychological and cultural antropological subjects during my study. Currently, I am working as a biology teacher on the St. Michael college, a secondary school in Zaandam. I am also working two days a week at the centre for international cooperation on tertiary education in developing countries of the Free University, the CDCS/CIS.
My interests are quite broad: I like to visit friends, go to theatre performances and spending time with my family. I used to play in an orchestra, but decided to stop and spent more of my time on local politics; I've recently become the secretary of the local board of GroenLinks Oud-West. More information about me can be found on the other pages for example about our stay in Ghana and on the pages of Erik.
